How to update your demographic data in Aadhaar and check its status online

You can update your demographic data in Aadhaar and check
its status by following these steps:

1. Go
   to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/


2. Click
   on the "My Aadhaar" option and select "Update Your
   Aadhaar" from the dropdown menu.


3. Under
   the "Update Your Demographics Data" section, select the
   appropriate option for updating your demographic data. You can choose to
   update your name, gender, date of birth, address, mobile number, or email
   ID.


4. Fill
   in the required details in the online form, and upload the necessary
   documents as proof of the changes.


5. Review
   the details you have entered and click on the "Submit" button.


6. You
   will receive an Update Request Number (URN) on your registered mobile
   number or email ID, which you can use to track the status of your update
   request.


7. To
   check the status of your update request, go to the "Check Status -
   Update done Online" option under the "My Aadhaar" section
   on the UIDAI website.


8. Enter
   your Aadhaar number and the URN, along with the security code displayed on
   the screen.


9. Click
   on the "Get Status" button to check the status of your update
   request.

It may take a few days for your update request to be
processed, and you can check the status of your request at any time using the
URN. Once your update request is approved, you will receive an updated Aadhaar
card with the new demographic data.
