How to Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID online
If you have lost or forgotten your Aadhaar Enrollment ID
(EID) or Aadhaar number (UID), you can retrieve it by following these steps:
Retrieve Aadhaar EID:
- Go
 to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/
- Click
 on the "My Aadhaar" option and select "Retrieve Lost or
 Forgotten EID/UID" from the dropdown menu.
- Select
 the "Enrollment Number (EID)" option.
- Enter
 your full name, registered email address or mobile number, and the
 security code displayed on the screen.
- Click
 on the "Send One Time Password (OTP)" button.
- You
 will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered email address or mobile
 number.
- Enter
 the OTP in the appropriate field and click on the "Verify OTP"
 button.
- In
 the next screen, you will receive a message with your Aadhaar Enrollment
 ID (EID) on your registered email address or mobile number.
Retrieve Aadhaar UID:
- Go
 to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/
- Click
 on the "My Aadhaar" option and select "Retrieve Lost or
 Forgotten EID/UID" from the dropdown menu.
- Select
 the "Aadhaar Number (UID)" option.
- Enter
 your full name, registered email address or mobile number, and the
 security code displayed on the screen.
- Click
 on the "Send One Time Password (OTP)" button.
- You
 will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered email address or mobile
 number.
- Enter
 the OTP in the appropriate field and click on the "Verify OTP"
 button.
- In
 the next screen, you will receive a message with your Aadhaar number (UID)
 on your registered email address or mobile number.
Note that retrieving your Aadhaar EID/UID requires you to
have access to your registered email address or mobile number. If you do not
have access to them, you can update them by following the relevant procedure on
